The best part of learning Demantra is that, you dont need to be an expert in Oracle apps, what helps is if you have fare understanding of ERP manufacturing & distribution modules. If you already have some exposure to forecasting domain then it makes your learning path easier for sure.

Once you are through with Basic documentation, you can install Demantra and use it for learning purpose.

Hi,

Well, I will suggest you start in following fashion on documentation:
Basic docs:
1. Demantra Spectrum 7.0.1 Concepts
2. Demantra Spectrum 7.0.1 Administrator's Guide
3. Demantra Spectrum 7.0.1 Consultant's Guide
these docs are old Demantra ones, and provide good basic concepts on Demantra product.

Once familiar with Demantra product and terminology, you can start looking at any of the latest version's implementation guide. Start with Demand Management module.

Well for installing Demantra, you need to install Oracle Database there is no work around for that. As all Demantra objects are created in a DB schema during installation.
