Demantra 7.3 comes clean

Oracle's latest release 7.3 of Demantra Suite comes with an empty schema, unlike previous versions which had demo data. This surely would be a good news for those who have faced problems while cleaning up the demo data in older versions.

Hi Raj,
This is something I have been struggling with for some time now (1 week), though just the opposite of what many people might have faced.
I am new to Demantra and have never used an earlier version. I followed the steps and guides to download and install demantra 7.3, and was hoping to find the demo data present.
Now that you confirm it is a clean install, is there any way I can get the demo data from somewhere and upload to my tables.

Thanks,

Hey Nishith,

Oracle has mentioned that they are working on providing a demo install. But that might take some time.

What you can do is, you can install older version say 7.2 and then simply upgrade your application without upgrading schema to new release 7.3

This would ensure you would have some demo data.

Also, in case you dont really want to work on 7.3 features like CTO and NPI, you may prefer to simply install 7.2 and use that rather than spending time on 7.3

Hope this helps.

Thanks
Raj
